Claudio Achille Debussy

Claude Achille Debussy(1862-1918), French composer and writer, known as the creater of "Impressionism", studied at the Paris Conservatory, won the Priz de Rome, and subsequently studied in Rome, returned to France, toured Europe as conductor and performer of his own music. He composed 1 opera(Pelleas et Melisande), stage works, symphony, symphonic poems, orchestral and chamber music, violin and piano pieces.
